About the Business
Deacons Marina and Boatyard is situated on a sheltered bank on the western side of the Hamble River. Deacons Marina has 130 berths afloat and the boatyard has space for 160 boats ashore and craneage facilities for lifting boats up to 20 tons and 45 feet in length.
The business was first established in 1922 by Francis Deacon and has been owned by the Fuller family since the early 1960's. We have friendly and knowledgeable staff skilled in boat repair and maintenance who are happy to help with any size jobs or give useful advice to those who have the time to do their own maintenance.
Deacons Marina is situated 5 minutes from Junction 8 of the M27 and close to Bursledon rail station so that even our boat owners living in London and the Midlands can leave after work on a Friday evening and still enjoy a full weekend of boating.
